What our service will costs is dependent on a few factors listed below

Location - the closer our location is to our home base in the Hunter Valley the easier we can provide our services

Target Pest - Some species are harder to target than others so will cost more or less depending on the difficulty level. Some species such as deer may be able to be harvested so can often offset the costs of control. These operations we often conduct for free if we can harvest the meat from the animals.

Required Equipment - It generally costs more when more equipment is required to complete the job. Example would be the use of 4x4 side by side vehicle fitted with thermal scanner and a silenced semiautomatic rifle for shooting pigs will be more costly, but also much more effective. than being on foot with a bolt action rifle.

Time and Duration of Operation - The time of day or night and the duration of the operation (single night or weeks) affects the cost of the job.

We are passionate hunters as well as professional contract shooters, so we often can work with landowners to come to an arrangement where it is a win-win for you and us. We want happy landowners and good relationships with our clients as our first priority.

Some Common pricing arrangements are:

Hourly rate - pay for the duration of time we spend onsite
Pay Per Animal - pay per animal that is destroyed
Day/Night Rate - pay per day or night we attend your property
Harvest Arrangement - Give access to harvest deer as payment for Pest Control Services

Example Scenario

Farmer Joe operates a sheep farm in Upper Hunter Valley region and is experiencing a major wild dog problem that is causing significant losses to his business. Farmer Joe also has feral deer on his property that are not really causing a problem but may become an issue if the future. Joe contacts Aaron at Thermal Shooters and explains that he would like some assistance in controlling problem wild dogs. Aaron makes arrangements to help Joe over several nights when the dogs are next spotted in the area. As payment Joe allows Aaron to harvest deer from his property, that also may become a problem if allowed to increase in number. Win for Joe and win for Aaron.
